The Shire of Tymberhavene is located in the Principality of the Summits and in the Kingdom of An Tir. We are the local chapter for the Society for Creative Anachronism centered around Coos and Curry Counties in Oregon. The SCA is a non-profit, educational organization dedicated to re-creating aspects of life in medieval and renaissance Europe. We became a full status shire on May 17th, 2008 with the blessing of King Cedric and Queen Elizabeth of An Tir.
What is the SCA?
The SCA is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. Our “Known World” consists of 19 kingdoms, with over 30,000 members residing in countries around the world. Members, dressed in clothing of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, attend events which feature tournaments, royal courts, feasts, dancing, various classes & workshops, and more.
